
Directed by the Aiken Running Club in conjunction with Aiken Electric Co-op, this is a race by runners for runners. You'll see many area High School kids either in the races or along the sides volunteering and/or cheering. Proceeds from the race support local high school track and cross country programs.
This race has featured some of the best T-shirt designs and offered a unique tour through Aiken's residential and historic streets.

Triple Crown 10 Mile Road Race South Carolina State Championship Open for all ages, all paces. Course is absolutely flat, fast, and also very scenic in case you're capable of noticing such! The first three miles are on residential streets, followed by one mile on dirt through Aiken’s historic horse district. Miles 5 and 6 are run on Aiken’s famous Colleton Avenue, showcasing Aiken's historic homes. Mile 7 is back on dirt, and the last three miles wind through more traditional neighborhoods. The race finishes back at the Odell Weeks Activities Center.

First 1 Mile Race Sponsored by Carolina First. For ages 16 years old and under. This flat course is run on the one mile walking track at the Odell Weeks Activities Center. This event is quite popular among area soccer players, cross country runners, track team, and young rising stars!

Tot Trot and 1/2 Mile Fun Run Bring the Kids! The Tot Trot is for ages 5 and under. The 40 yard distance makes for quite a scene each year as the kids come running toward the finish line. The 1/2 mile distance is for ages 8 and under. This fun run serves to introduce young kids to running and racing, without having to toe the line with the older kids in the mile distance. No age group awards in these races - just participation recognition only, plus some extra ice cream for the first M/F in the 1/2 mile. All participants will receive a 100% cotton T-shirt, and more! |
