Proceeds from the Triple Crown Races are used to support the running programs at Aiken High and South Aiken High Schools. This directly benefits over 220 students each year!

These two schools have each developed first-rate programs. The coaches and the kids themselves get most of this credit; we're only glad we can support them through these races.

Some recent improvements include:

· South Aiken was finally able to purchase warmup jersey tops and motivational aides (books, videos, awards).

· The South Aiken cross country team nearly doubled in size this year, and the school was able to accommodate the extra runners.

· Both schools, as a result of developing quality programs, are attracting a more diverse group into the sport, including those not accustomed to any sport.

· South Aiken was able to purchase a video-based FAT timing system. This system makes the Aiken area the preferred choice for region meets, directly benefiting hundreds more students.
