Veteran in Need
One of our local war heroes is in need. Ivan Castro is a army 1st Lt,
assigned to the 82nd ABN, an accomplished runner, and blinded during combat ops
in Iraq. His complete story is at this
link, but the short story is that he's still training when able to recruit
escorts, and is going to run the Boston Marathon. He needs guides!
And guides than can keep up with a sub 8/mile pace. Click on the above
